  • Visit a DFCC Bank Branch or make your payment online – Bring your deposit slip to conduct a cash deposit, account transfer over the counter at your nearest DFCC branch, or using online methods as CEFT or via Visa and Master cards.

  • Payment Confirmation – Ensure the transaction is completed before submitting your visa application.

  • Visa fees are non-refundable for all categories.

  • Payments must be made in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).

  • The current consular exchange rate for USD to LKR is available at www.ustraveldocs.com/lk.

1. Can I pay my US visa fee online? 
Yes, can pay your US Visa fees online using CEFT or via your Visa and Master cards as well as without needing to visit a branch. 

2. What currency should I use for the payment? 
Visa fees are accepted only in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) at the applicable consular exchange rate. 

3. Can I get a refund if my visa application is rejected? 
No, all US visa application fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

4. Do I need to bring any documents for payment? 
Yes, you need to bring the deposit slip with the CGI reference number from www.ustraveldocs.com/lk. 

5. Are DFCC branches open on weekends for visa payments? 
Yes, Ramanayake Mawatha & Kandy City Centre branches are open on Saturdays from 9:00AM – 1:00 PM, and Narahenpita Economic Centre is open daily from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM (except Poya days).
