The DFCC Green Deposit is a pioneering fixed deposit product introduced to promote sustainable green investments, environmental protection, and climate change mitigation. Funds raised through DFCC Green Deposits are exclusively allocated to financing sustainability-driven projects, in line with the Green Finance Taxonomy of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.

These projects include hydropower, waste-to-energy, and water recycling initiatives. DFCC Bank is proud to be Sri Lanka’s first financial institution to introduce a green deposit product, actively encouraging responsible financing for a better future.
